Building is anticipated to re-open tomorrow
The building that houses the Colinton Post Office sustained damage from a pick-up truck that drove into the east side of the building around 4:30 pm on Monday, March 19th, causing structural damage. No injuries were sustained as a result of the incident.
Athabasca County owns the building and closed access to it immediately following the incident. A safety assessment took place this morning and work to return the building to a safe status is underway. It is anticipated the Post Office will be able to re-open tomorrow, Wednesday, March 21st for regular business.

Mail distribution has not changed as a result of this incident. All mail picked up at the Colinton Post Office will be available on Wednesday, March 21 during regular business hours, including mail for Perryvale residents.
