Athabasca County Enforcement Services reminds everyone that online learning has concluded and students are now back to school.
Therefore, speed limits are reduced to 30 Kilometers per hour on school days (Monday to Friday) during the following times:
- 8 am to 9:30 am
- 11:30 am to 1:30 pm
- 3 pm to 4:30 pm
Enforcement Services was out monitoring school zones in the county last week and found some very high speeds during these times.
School zone speed limits will continue to be monitored in coming weeks so please slow down, watch for children crossing the streets, and watch for flashing lights on buses when driving.
