Athabasca County has engaged a contractor to conduct repair work on Township Road 704, west of Highway 63, where a washout occurred earlier in the season due to significant rainfall.
This requires the road to remain closed, as shown below, to allow the work to be carried out. The project is expected to be complete mid to end of October.
Please follow all directional signage in the area, choose an alternate route of travel and watch for equipment and crews while this work is being conducted.
