Athabasca County is considering granting a Caretaker Agreement to provide permission to fence and utilize for agriculture purposes, a portion of road allowance as described below:
The road allowance between NE 30-68-23 W4M & NW 29-68-23 W4M. The general location of the road allowance is marked by an “X” on the map below.
A Public Hearing has been scheduled for Thursday, November 28, 2019, at 9:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers of the Athabasca County Administration Office to allow the public an opportunity to express any concerns regarding Bylaw 024-2019.
As per Athabasca County Policy 3522, notice of the proposed by-law and the hearing date, time and location will be mailed to all landowners of property adjacent and/or contiguous to the applicable road allowance and any person or entity listed on title as having interest in those lands.
A copy of the bylaw may be obtained by interested parties at the County office during normal working hours.
Anyone wishing to address Council on this matter should provide written notification by 12 noon, November 27, 2019.
