A virtual public hearing has been scheduled to gather public input about proposed amendments to Land Use Bylaw 004-2019 with regards to Recreational Vehicle use in Athabasca County.
Bylaw 004-2021 proposes to enact the following amendments to Land Use Bylaw 004-2019:
1. Amend the Land Use 11.5 Special Recreation (SR) District to remove
“Campgrounds” as a discretionary use.
2. Amend the Land Use 11.15 Recreational Commercial (C4) District to
remove “Campgrounds” as a discretionary use.
3. Add new Land Use 11.22 Campground (C5) District.
4. Replace Table 9 – Maximum Recreational Vehicle Density from
Section 10.27 Recreational Vehicles with schedule ‘B’ as follows:
