Our Existing Pool
As pool facilities age they require additional maintenance and investment in mechanical systems to keep them operational. Behind the walls of the facility are pumps, valves, pipes and chlorination systems that all contribute to the safety of the facility and help it meet public health regulations.
The current pool was built in 1980 and it has served the region well. However, after 37 years of service, the needs of the community have changed and so have pool designs.
New pools offer many amenities for both young and old while providing for a greater leisure component for users; barrier free entry options, waterfalls, lazy rivers, water slides, hot tubs, climbing walls – they all add to the experience.
Recreational facilities have been shown to help attract and keep families, businesses, and investment in the region.
