Please note that as part of routine maintenance, TC Energy will be performing a blowdown periodically from October 14th-31st west of HWY 63 and South on TWP Road 680 on the HWY 63 Service Road. A blowdown is the act of safely releasing natural gas from a pipeline system in a controlled manner so work can be done safely on depressurized facilities. A loud roaring sound may occur when the natural gas is released, although tools will be employed by TC Energy to minimize this noise whenever possible. The estimated duration of each blowdown is 45 minutes each.
Residents living in close proximity to the planned blowdown location will receive notification of the blowdown prior to the work beginning.
