Campground Operations Notice – Summer 2020
All self-registration campgrounds owned and operated by Athabasca County remain closed for overnight camping.
They include: Jackfish Lake, Baptiste Lake, Long Lake, Narrow Lake, Island Lake, Ghost Lake, and North Buck Lake Narrows.
Members of the public are free to utilize the boat launches, beaches, group sites, playgrounds, and day-use areas at these sites. All fees have been waived at these sites for the 2020 season.
Please Note: Public washrooms at self-registration facilities will remain closed.

- Boat launch, accommodates small boats
- 4 unserviced campsites
Fees (Waived for 2020)
- Day use – $5 per vehicle
- Boat launch – $5 per launch
- Overnight- $15 per night
Directions From Athabasca: South on Hwy 2 18 km to Hwy 663, west 15 km to Twp Rd 650. Follow as it winds north (becoming Rge Rd 250) to Twp. Rd. 651 heading west. Take your first left heading south and follow the road into the campground. Legal land description: NE 1–65-25 W4
