The Athabasca Regional Multiplex Society is seeking a dynamic individual who is organized, innovative, and knowledgeable, in conjunction with excellent people and management skills for the position of General Manager.
Reporting to the Athabasca Regional Multiplex Society Board, the General Manager is responsible for the operation, maintenance, programming and promotion of all Athabasca Regional Multiplex Society functions and activities.
This includes the management and operation of a $17 million Multiplex facility built in 2008 which includes an arena, curling rink, fieldhouse, multipurpose studio, meeting rooms and lounge. A $15 million aquatic center and fitness center was added in 2019. Additional facilities include the Athabasca Performing Arts Centre and soccer and baseball sports fields.
The General Manager is responsible for the preparation and submission of the approximately $2.8 million annual Operating budget, as well as the annual Capital budget, for the Society.
Compensation is based on a 37.5 hour work week, with a starting salary range of $85,000 – $100,000. The Athabasca Regional Multiplex Society offers an excellent comprehensive benefits package, including the Local Authorities Pension Plan (LAPP).
