- The fire has been deemed HELD by Alberta Forestry and Parks.
- Firefighting activities are still being done and are covering hotspots. The dozer guard around the fire is complete. The patrol operation activity for the fire guard crews is still high.
- The fire has burned 2536 hectares.
- Sprinkler protection of the nearby properties has been terminated.
- Drone flying is strictly prohibited due to the ongoing air operation.
- As of 4:00PM the evacuation notice has been lifted and affected residents have been notified by County staff. The prepare to evacuate notice will remain in place for those who were already on notice and those returning home as a precaution. Returning residents are asked to use caution due to high traffic and firefighting equipment still in the area. Nonessential traffic should stay out of the area. We will notify when the prepare to evacuate notice is fully lifted.
