Campground Operations Notice – Summer 2020
All self-registration campgrounds owned and operated by Athabasca County remain closed for overnight camping.
They include: Jackfish Lake, Baptiste Lake, Long Lake, Narrow Lake, Island Lake, Ghost Lake, and North Buck Lake Narrows.
Members of the public are free to utilize the boat launches, beaches, group sites, playgrounds, and day-use areas at these sites. All fees have been waived at these sites for the 2020 season.
Please Note: Public washrooms at self-registration facilities will remain closed.

- Boat launch- small boats only
- Bird watching station
- Fishing and fish cleaning station
- 12 unserviced campsites
- Well water
Fees (Waived for 2020)
- Day use- $5 per vehicle
- Boat Launch – $5 per launch
- Overnight- $15 per night
From Athabasca: West on Hwy 2, continue north to Twp Rd 681 (becomes Twp Rd 682) follow east to Rge Rd 235 heading south, at Twp Rd 680 go west 1.5 km. Legal land description: NW 31-67-23-W4
