Athabasca County is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to provide snow removal in Grassland, Alberta. This role offers flexible, on-call work during the winter months to help maintain safe conditions for our community.
Scope of Work: In the event of snow or freezing rain situations the sidewalk from Grassland School to 51st Street must be maintained keeping it free of snow and ice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate snow removal equipment to clear sidewalks as needed.
• Apply sand and/or de-icing materials to ensure safe surfaces.
• Respond promptly to weather conditions that require snow and ice management.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
