The Athabasca County Family & Community Support Services Program is currently accepting applications for a full-time Family Wellness Worker. This is a term position to March 31, 2026, with a possible extension dependent on funding. This Worker will provide services in Athabasca, Calling Lake and surrounding area as part of the Northern Lakes Family Resource Network.
The Family Wellness Program is a voluntary, community-based program designed to assist families in overcoming challenges and building skills necessary to ensure a safe, healthy and resilient home. The Family Wellness Worker offers support to assist families in developing goals they can work towards achieving, as well as assistance in accessing other community and government resources.
