Athabasca County is currently accepting applications for a Facilities Maintenance Technician.
Reporting to the Public Works Operations Manager, the Facilities Maintenance position is accountable for an array of basic maintenance and housekeeping duties for various facilities in Athabasca County. Working as part of a team dedicated to process improvement and long-term success for the County, this role requires an internal and external customer service focused professional with attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
The ideal candidate will be a reliable and motivated individual with previous experience performing regular repairs and maintenance in a safe and responsible manner. Previous experience with water and wastewater systems an asset.
