Keeping Emergency Services Personnel Healthy –
As our first responders continue to protect our communities during the COVID-19 pandemic, it is important we help keep them safe.
Maintaining six feet, or two metres, between you police, firefighters, or EMS will help flatten the curve and keep our first responders safe.
If you have been sick, in contact with somebody who is sick, have traveled, or are self-isolating, let our dispatchers know when you call 9-1-1. We also ask that you tell the first responder when they arrive on scene.
Social distancing is imperative to help prevent the spread and keep our police, fire, and ambulance personnel healthy so they can continue to go the distance for us!
