Due to a reduction in cellular service that occurred over the weekend as the result of a cell tower fire, Athabasca County’s debit/credit payment machine is offline.
We will be unable to accept payment by credit, debit or mastercard until services return to normal. Payments using cash or cheque, as well as telephone or online banking arranged with your financial institution, are still possible.
There is no set time frame for the return of credit/debit payment options. We will post any updates when they become available.
