Request for Quotation – Two-Year Service Agreement for a Strategic Marketing Plan with Social Media & Website Maintenance

Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned up to 4:00 p.m. local time, Friday, October 7, 2022, for the following work:

The Athabasca County Tourism and Economic Development Committee is seeking to strengthen their marketing practices to promote the Athabasca Region as an ideal place to live, work and specifically play. The TED Committee is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to research and identify the region’s target audience for tourism. They then want the contractor to develop a strategic marketing plan that outlines the best methods of marketing to the region’s target audience and execute said plan by providing (but not limited to) content development, social media, and website maintenance. The strategic marketing plan should also outline ways to revitalize or upgrade the existing Visit Athabasca social media pages and website. The website specifically will need to be upgraded to allow for a more user-friendly experience. Currently, the website https://www.visitathabasca.ca/ has become a source of comprehensive information regarding tourism in the Athabasca Region and can serve as a landing page for future marketing campaigns. The TED Committee aims to leverage initiatives already undertaken to raise the profile of the region through an increased online presence and digital marketing efforts through search engine optimization (SEO) and content development.

The RFP package may be obtained at Athabasca County Administration office, 3602-48 Avenue, Athabasca, AB, or on the website.

Athabasca County reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal s received. The lowest or any proposal may not necessarily be accepted.

All Quotations must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed as follows:
