Athabasca County’s Infrastructure Services Department continues to evaluate damage from recent rainfall and as of June 9, 2020, has closed a bridge on Range Road 192, north of Highway 63.
Upon inspection, the approaches to the bridge are soft and are close to washing out due to high water flows.
Access for Residents
Local traffic can still access their properties from either side of the bridge, but cannot cross the bridge until repairs are complete.
The bridge location has been marked as being closed.
Safety
To ensure your safety, please stay back from the bridge and do not walk, or drive, on its surface.
Keep all children and pets back from the water edge to reduce the chance of them entering the water.
