In Alberta and throughout Canada, April 28 has been designated as a day of mourning each year to commemorate workers who have been killed, injured or become ill due to work-related incidents.
To commemorate this day, Athabasca County will be lowering its flags to half-mast from the evening of Friday April 26th until the morning of Monday April 29th.
