Both directions of traffic will be rerouted onto the new northbound lanes of Highway 63 so crews can complete reconstruction work on the existing highway.
The work is taking place 2 kilometres south of Wandering River from April 21 to June 15, weather permitting. Both directions of Highway 63 traffic will be rerouted onto the newly constructed northbound lanes.
Motorists will cross the South Wandering River on the new northbound bridge. The detour is approximately 3 kilometres in length, including transitions. Speeds limits will be reduced to 50 km/h through the transitions, and 80 km/h on the detour.
Fines for speeding double in construction zones. Motorists are reminded to obey all flag persons, signs and signals and watch for construction equipment.
