PROJECT UPDATE
After careful consideration and discussion, it has been decided to delay construction of Sawdy Road until the spring of 2021.
The decision was made to avoid poor driving conditions in spring and in recognition of the short construction season remaining in 2020. The project will be prioritized by the contractors with the start of the construction season in 2021.

Please be advised that Athabasca County has engaged a contractor to rebuild a portion of Township Road 680 (Sawdy Road). The work is anticipated to begin mid-September and be completed by the end of the 2020 construction season.
Please follow all directional signage in the area and watch for equipment and crews while this work is being conducted.
