Athabasca County crews are working to repair road and bridge infrastructure that has experienced damage from the ongoing rainfall.
At this time the County is prioritizing areas that present an emerging safety concern and will be working to repair all areas of concern after work in these areas is complete.
All residents should exercise extra caution when approaching bridges and areas of the County where water is visibly flowing over the road.
Reduce your speed and choose an alternate road if needed. Obey all signage for route detours and closures you encounter. For the safety of everyone, give work crews and equipment extra space to work by staying back at least 15 metres, or 50 feet.
Thank you for your cooperation!
