The residents of Colinton will be experiencing intermittent water shut-offs over the next five days.
Work is being done to repair some minor leaks to the water distribution system in the hamlet prior to paving. This will necessitate digging up the roadway where the leaks are present, repairing them, replacing the fill material and preparing the road for pavement.
Crews will endeavour to keep the water disruptions to daylight working hours, and only designated sections of the community will be affected at any given time.
Please ensure you have adequate drinking and cooking water on hand to take you through periods when the water supply is affected. The Colinton Truck Fill can accommodate the filling of small water containers should you require some extra water.
