Public bodies in Alberta must comply with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. The Act was created to balance the privacy of individuals with their right to know what information is retained by public bodies.
Anyone has the right to request information that is under the care and control of Athabasca County, including their personal information. You may wish to request personal information to verify its accuracy or for other purposes.
