A Public Hearing has been scheduled for Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers of the County Office to receive public comments on an amendment to the Athabasca County’s Land Use Bylaw 6-2002, insofar as it applies to certain lands within Athabasca County.
The Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000 (“the Act”) authorizes Council to establish and amend a Land Use Bylaw; and the Council of the Athabasca County duly assembled, enacts as follows:
- The Land Use Bylaw No. 6-2002 is hereby amended as follows:
a) The Land Use District Map is hereby amended by changing those portions of SE 7-66-22 W4 as indicated on Schedule “A” attached hereto from Special Recreation Use (SR) District to Country Residential (CR) District; and
b) The Land Use District Map is hereby amended by changing those portions of NE 6-66-22 W4 as indicated on Schedule “A” attached hereto from Rural Use (RU) District to Country Residential (CR) District; and
c) The Land Use District Map is hereby amended by changing those portions of SE 6-66-22 W4 as indicated on Schedule “A” attached hereto from Agricultural Use (AU) District to Country Residential (CR) District.
A paper copy of Bylaw 012-2017 being the amending Bylaw may be obtained by interested parties at the County Office during normal working hours.
Anyone wishing to address Council on these matters should provide written notification by 12 noon, August 30, 2017
