A Public Hearing has been scheduled for Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers of the County Office to receive public comments on an amendment to the Athabasca County’s Municipal Development Plan 5-2002, insofar as it applies to certain lands within Athabasca County.
The Municipal Government Act R.S.A. 2000 (“the Act”) authorizes Council to establish and amend a Municipal Development Plan; and the Council of the Athabasca County duly assembled, enacts as follows:
- THAT the Municipal Development Plan of Athabasca County, No. 5-2002 is hereby amended by adding the following policy to the Plan:
2.9.1) Notwithstanding anything in this bylaw to the contrary, multi-lot Country Residential subdivisions within SE 6-66-22-W4 and NE 6-66-22-W4 may be allowed.
A copy of Bylaw 009-2017 being the amending Bylaw, may be obtained by interested parties at the County Office during normal working hours.
