After careful consideration, Athabasca County Council has made the decision to close all campgrounds for the 2020 camping season.
As a result, all reservations for the 2020 camping season are cancelled. Those who made the bookings will be notified via telephone and refunds will be distributed accordingly.
Please Note: This closure notice only applied to campgrounds operated by Athabasca County as listed below:
- Forfar Recreation Park
- Hope Lake Campground
- Jackfish Lake
- Baptiste Lake
- Long Lake
- Narrow Lake
- Island Lake
- Ghost Lake
- North Buck Lake Narrows
