Compliance Letters
In order to issue a Letter of Compliance, Athabasca County requires a current (6 months old or less) Alberta Real Property Report. Your application must include a current copy of the title (30 days old or less) to ensure the improvements comply with the setbacks and permitted uses of the County’s Land Use Bylaw.
- Two original copies of a current (6 months old or less) Alberta Real Property Report (Electronic Real Property Reports and Title will be accepted when emailed directly from the surveyor).
- An Alberta Real Property Report can be obtained from any Alberta Land Surveyor.

Requests for Information
If requested, the County will check Land Files for any development and safety code permits that may have been issued on your property.
