FCSS was pleased to host Seniors Symposiums in Athabasca and Boyle during Seniors Week (June 1 – 7), with a total of 77 participants attending the two events.
The symposiums featured a variety of informative presentations, including dementia awareness and supports from the Alzheimer Society, music therapy, first aid tips from ACT Fast First Aid, a grief and loss session with Soul Sisters, and digital skills training from Words Work Literacy with assistance from the Rotary Interact Club.
The events provided seniors with valuable information, practical resources, and opportunities to connect with others while celebrating Seniors Week in our communities. FCSS extends its thanks to all presenters and participants for helping make the events a success.
