Athabasca County is now accepting applications to the Residential Driveway Snowplowing Program.
Applications are good for one (1) winter season and covers snow clearing from private lanes/driveways for rural Athabasca County residents. A fee of $200.00 + applicable taxes must be paid upon application.
Municipal Roads are priority for snowplowing and private lanes/driveways will be managed as per administrative capacity and based on snow accumulation with each snowfall event.
Driveways will not be given higher priority by an applicant phoning in to Athabasca County.
