Athabasca County is requesting proposals for the campground management of Forfar Recreation Park and/or Hope Lake Campground.
Proposals must be emailed before 1 p.m. on February 17, 2026, and include the following:
- The Proponent’s legal name, address, email address and telephone number,
- A list of qualifications and experience, including any previous work of a similar nature, if applicable,
- At least three (3) professional references,
- The names and a resume for each of the key personnel who will be involved with the services performed,
- A firm proposal of rates and fees and financial compensation remitted to the County,
- A signed copy of the RFP, proposal and any addenda issued,
- A completed “Appendix C – Health & Safety Requirements / Vendor Pre-Qualification” and “Appendix D – Certification,”
- Provide an organization overview, including a description of the organization’s business, operating structure and experience,
- An overview of any proposed products or services outside of the operation minimum standards,
- Description of value-added services that the organization will contribute,
- Description of OH&S practices/program, and
- Must be made available for tentative interviews on February 26 and 27, 2026.
The contract term may be extended to a maximum of three (3) years.
