Public Hearing for Bylaw 023-2026 on May 28th, 2026

In accordance with the requirements of Athabasca County’s Road Allowance Licensing Policy 3525, the Council of Athabasca County has scheduled a Public Hearing for May 28, 2026, starting at 9:30 a.m.

THE PUBLIC HEARING IS BEING HELD TO ALLOW PUBLIC INPUT ON THE FOLLOWING BYLAW:

Bylaw 023-2026 – A bylaw for the purpose of entering into a road allowance license agreement for the temporary occupation and use of a road allowance, in accordance with the Traffic Safety Act.

Presentations may be in person, virtually or by written submission. Each presenter will be given up to 5 minutes to present to County Council.

Please note:

  • Persons attending a public hearing virtually must pre-register. Only individuals who have pre-registered to attend virtually will be provided with the information to access the hearing electronically.
  • Persons attending a public hearing in-person at the County Administrative Office are not required to pre-register but will be asked to sign-in at the hearing.
