Public Hearing for Bylaw 006-2025 on August 28th, 2025

In accordance with the requirements of Section 606 of the Municipal Government Act, as amended, the Council of Athabasca County has scheduled a Public Hearing for August 28, 2025 starting at 9:30 a.m.

THE PUBLIC HEARING IS BEING HELD TO ALLOW PUBLIC INPUT ON THE FOLLOWING BYLAW:

Bylaw 006-2025 – The proposed road closure bylaw as follows:

All that portion of government road allowance lying adjacent to the north east quarter of section 28, township 64, range 18, west of the fourth meridian, laying north of the easterly projection of the south boundary of Lot 1, Block 1, Plan 112 0217, and south of a line drawn perpendicular to the westerly boundary of said government road allowance sixty five (65) meters south of the north east corner of said Lot 1, containing 0.503 Hectares (1.24 acres) more or less, excepting thereout all mines and minerals.

Any person attending a public hearing by electronic means must register by the specified deadline and comply with the procedures outlined in the notice of public hearing for filing submissions.
