A Public Hearing has been scheduled for Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers of the County Office to allow the public discussion of an amendment to the Land Use By-Law 6-2002 and Municipal Development Plan By-Law 5-2002, insofar as it applies to certain lands within Athabasca County.
The Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000 (“the Act”) authorizes the Council to establish and amend a Land Use Bylaw and Municipal Development Plan; and the Council of the County of Athabasca, duly assembled, enacts as follows:
- THAT the Land-Use Bylaw of Athabasca County, No. 6-2002 is hereby amended as follows:
(a) Schedule A-12 of the Land Use District Map is hereby amended by changing the designation of Plan 094 0229, Block 1, Lot 1 (SL 8-67-24 W4) indicated on Schedule “A” attached hereto from Rural Use (RU) District to Country Residential (CR) District.
- THAT the Municipal Development Plan of Athabasca County, Bylaw No. 5-2002, is hereby amended as follows:
(a) Map 1, the Municipal Development Plan, is hereby amended by changing the designation of Plan 094 0229, Block 1, Lot 1 (SL 8-67-24 W4) indicated on Schedule “A” attached hereto from Agriculture Area to Country Residential Area.
Copies of By-Laws 002 & 003 – 2015 being the amending By-Laws, may be obtained by interested parties at the County Office during normal working hours.
