Notice of Blowdown – August 20th, 2025

Athabasca County has received notice from Trans Canada/Nova that a blowdown will be occurring at wellsite today in SW 18-72-16-W4 which is located North of Wandering River. When pressure is released during a blowdown a loud noise may be heard in the area and could last for approximately 4.5 hours.
