Hazard Assistance and Resilience Program

Athabasca County has applied to the Government of Alberta for consideration of a Hazard Assistance and Resilience Program (HARP) related to the impacts of the 2026 Spring Flooding. If you were affected by the spring flooding, please document any damages. Documentation collected now may assist Athabasca County in supporting its application and may help you if the HARP program is approved for the County.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗣?

HARP is a provincial disaster financial assistance program administered by the Government of Alberta. When approved, HARP may provided financial assistance for certain eligible disaster-related losses resulting from uninsurable natural hazard events. 𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗣 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲.
