Applications are currently being accepted for Election Workers in Wandering River for the 2025 Municipal Election, to be held Monday, October 20, 2025.
All workers must be eligible to work in Canada, are required to attend a training session on October 2nd, and will be expected to work in Wandering River from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Election Day. The rate of pay for these contract positions will be $300 per day for the election and $150 for training.
Election workers help with voting and vote counting under the direction of the Returning Officer (RO) and Appointed Deputy(s). Election worker duties may include:
Assist voters with the voting process
Providing information to the public
Counting ballots
Taking down the voting station
Other duties as assigned
