Decision of Council – inaccurate timesheet submission

On Friday, February 7, 2014 Council heard, and accepted, a formal apology from Jack Dowhaluk, Councillor for Division 6. The apology was tendered for incorrect timesheets he submitted.

Although the money has been quickly repaid, Members of Council remained extremely concerned about this happening and on February 11, 2014 reduced Councillor Dowhaluk’s official duties to only include Regular Council Meetings and Public Works Meetings.

This decision will remain in effect until Council’s next Organizational Meeting in October 2014.

Members of the public should know that in addition to meeting minutes, Council timesheets and calendars are published online for the review of ratepayers.
