At a Special Council meeting this afternoon, County Council passed a motion to terminate the employment contract of Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Mr. Christopher Parker, effective immediately.
“Council felt the need to go a different direction, and a change in leadership was necessary,” said Reeve Brian Hall.
Council appointed the County’s Director of Planning and Development, Ms. Christa Wilkinson, as the Acting CAO while Council decides on an interim CAO appointment.
