Unseasonably warm temperatures are causing an early melt and water to flow in ditches.
Athabasca County requests the assistance of residents to check that culverts under the approaches to their property are clear from debris. If possible, landowners are asked to remove any debris from the culvert ends that may impede water flow.
In the event that you discover damage, or blockages, that you cannot remedy, please call our Public Works Department 780-675-2404 to report the specific location of the culvert.
