The Agricultural Service Board is calling for your nominations for the 2026 Northern Alberta Farm Family Awards. The award recognizes a remarkable farm or ranching family in Athabasca County who contributes to a strong agricultural industry and keeps our rural communities thriving.
Each year, farm families from North/Central Alberta communities are selected as recipients of the Farm Family Awards as they:
- Increase awareness of agriculture and maintain a high standard in their agriculture business
- Promote the agriculture community through involvement and rural citizenship
- Be proactive in new agricultural technologies
- Act as a role model to the rural community
- Be deserving based on equal recognition of agricultural and community involvement
The nomination deadline is Saturday, August 1, 2026. Nominations can be emailed to tracey@albertaagsocieties.ca or mailed to:
