Fire Services Technician (Seasonal/Summer Employment)

Athabasca County is currently accepting applications for a Fire Services Technician for the summer season. This seasonal position will assist with departmental projects in both an office setting and in the field completing a variety of maintenance and administrative duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete inspections, documentation, and inventories of fire assets.
• Assist with set up and data entry into fire services electronic records management system.
• Collect and collate information (documents, photographs, and geospatial) regarding rural water supplies for use by fire services.
• Load, unload, and transport goods and materials between fire districts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, experience utilizing technology to manage large amounts of information, the ability to follow instructions, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
