Alberta Health Services has issued a blue-green algae bloom health advisory for Hope Lake.
Protect yourself and your pets:
• Do not swim or wade in areas where blooms are visible.
• Avoid contact with blooms in the water and on shore. Wash with clean water if contact occurs.
• Do not drink or cook with water from this lake.
• Do not eat whole fish and trimmings and fish may store toxins in their liver. Fish fillets contain less toxins and are safer to eat.
