Air Quality Advisory for Athabasca County

Please be advised Environment Canada has issued a Yellow Air Quality Warning for Athabasca County due to wildfire smoke blowing in from the Northwest Territories.

Smoke is causing or is expected to cause poor air quality and reduced visibility. As smoke levels increase, so do the associated health risks. Residents are encouraged to limit time outdoors and consider reducing or rescheduling strenuous outdoor activities, particularly if they experience symptoms or are more sensitive to smoke.
